I promised to myself to have more travels this year, I even created a travel list. However, because of the busy schedule it’s kinda hard fulfill all the places in my travel list.
Good thing the place of Cebu really has a lot to offer and there’s a lot of places that you can visit and unwind. I really love to go to beaches but this time it’s gonna be different.
I’m sure Kawasan Falls sounds really familiar to most Cebuanos. I’ve heard a lot about the place from my friends so I thought “why not?”.
Here are some of our pictures:
I went there with my friends Gay with her Boyfriend, Jared, Queenee and Alli.
The falls has 1st level, 2nd level and 3rd level. We went there Sunday so there’s a lot of people in the first level so we went straight to the 2nd level. It would be nice if we also try the 3rd level but we were told that the way to go to the 3rd level is really hard so we just stayed on the 2nd level.
How to go there?
From the heart of Cebu, you can just ride a bus going straight to Badian. When you reach Badian, you still have to walk for approximately 20 mins going to the falls itself. If your lazy and you don’t want to walk, there’s also some motorcycle which will take you to the place. But then, if there’s a lot of you, It would be more fun if you walk rather than take the motorcycle.
See you soon in my next adventure!!!!
I’ve been traveling recently but only within Cebu because I only have limited time and budget. So even if Bohol is just so near Cebu I haven’t been there yet not until recently. Everytime someone knows that I haven’t been to Bohol they’re really shocked and they can’t seem to believe it (as if it’s just an hour drive, HELLO!?). So, anyway, I then decided to go there with my friends.
Before we go there we haven’t had any plans as to where to go and what to ride etc., we just planned to go there, that’ it. So on the planned day, we went to the port and bought a ticket going to Tubigon Bohol not knowing where to go when we reach there. Good thing I saw a blog post about bohol and the places to go to in bohol.
When we reach Tubigon port in Bohol we really don’t know where to go. We don’t even know that Tubigon Bohol is far from Tagbilaran. So we ride a bus from Tubigon to Tagbilaran which only cost us 50php only. From Tagbilaran, we ride a tricycle going to Dumaloan Beach which was mentioned on the Blog. The Blogger said that it’s nice there and he is really right. The pace was so beautiful that you can really compare it to Boracay. The sand is so white and the place is so clean.
On our 2nd day, we went to other places in bohol like the famous Chocolate hills, we visited the famous Tarsier and all the other places.
We wanted to try also the bike zipline but we were not able to try it because it’s raining. But, hopefully soon. 🙂
I don’t know if Cebuanos realize this but Cebu is really rich in natural resources and that there are a lot of places to go to when your in Cebu. If your a nature lover or someone who really loves the beach, Cebu is the place to be. Aside from beautiful faces, there are also a lot of nice beaches and resorts, there are amazingly stunning falls, hot springs and a lot more.
One place that you need to visit in Cebu is the whale watching in Oslob. You got to experience swimming with the whales and have a picture taken with them underwater.
Price is 500php per person which is really worth it. If you don’t know how to swim, there’s no need to worry because you will be provided with life jacket. Although it’s really better if you know how to swim so you can go down the water to get a better view of the whales. But you can still go down the water and just hold the the side part (I dont know what that part is called. hehe) of the outrigger boat – or in our language it’s called “Bangka”- just like what we did.
If you don’t have an underwater camera, you can rent an underwater camera there for 500php. After you use it you can have them transfer the file to you SD card or phone, whatever memory card you have.
Another place that you can visit which is just few kilometers away from there is the Tumalog falls.
The place is really VERY nice and I’m not exaggerating. I was really stunned. We’ll maybe because it’s my first time, but, regardless, the place is really super nice.
Yes it’s summer and wouldn’t it be nice to be involved in some outdoor activities? Yes absolutely it is. You wont just have fun, it would also make you fit and healthy.
One of the best place to be when talking about summer activities is really Papakits in Liloan. They have a lot of physical actvities there. They wall climbing, zipline, and my favorite which is Wakeboarding!! Those are the 3 activities that we tried. They also have obstacle course, 4X4, biking, you can also do fishing and swimming in the pool and much much more.
My favorite was really wakeboarding because it’s really very cool. It’s kinda hard but it just takes some practice and sooner or later you will get it. You shouldn’t be afraid to try again and never be afraid to stumble and fall because it’s normal. I’m sure the pro wake boarders fell a lot of times before they became the best hat they are.
I know you’ve seen a lot of posts in almost all social networks (Facebook, instagram, twitter etc,.) about their summer get away and I know that makes you very excited for your summer getaway as well. I know your excited to wear those bikinis, sun glasses and flip flops showing your very beautiful body and sun kissed skin with the white sand beach background. Most of all I know your most excited to post them and share them with your followers and facebook friends.
Hell yeah it’s summer! and it’s my most favorite season every year, well I guess it’s almost everyone’s favorite season cause aside from there’s no classes, we got to spend most of our time with family and friends. So to start of my summer, we went island hopping with my friends.
It was a lot of fun. Yes I mean it when I said a LOT of fun!
Even if I don’t know how to swim, It doesn’t stop me from enjoying the water, there’s a life jacket anyway so not really a problem. The problem was I have a seasickness so I vomited a lot which makes me weak but it only takes a nap and I’m back again.
For those who also wanted to go on Island hopping, there are really a lot of packages which some includes the food. But for us, so we can save money, what we did was rented a boat and we just bought our own food. Some of us cooked food for everybody. We also just rented a van for our transportation going to Lapu-lapu.
The picture above was near Be resort. Isn’t it a nice view? #sunset
Its our day 2 in Camotes and it’s really very nice to wake up early with a very nice beach view, the view alone completes my day already (exage? haha.) Anyway, we have all day to tour the place.
We went to Danao Lake first. The place was serene and quiet, you can do kayacking and horse back riding.
Then we went to a resort, I really forgot the name and surprisingly, we saw our college batchmate their with her family and friends.
Then we went to the cave. The cave was kinda scary, it’s so funny also cause I went in first while they were still outside waiting for something. After a few steps, I went back because it’s so dark and scary (acting brave didn’t work for me. hahaha.). So we went in and had swimming, the water is 5 feet when low tide and 6 feet when high tide. I honestly didn’t enjoy swimming there since I’m not that good in swimming. I just seat on the rocks and move while holding someone or by just holding the rocks on the side (that explains why I like to enroll in swimming lessons).
Last place we visited was the Mangodlong beach. The place was REALLY nice, as in super nice. We didn’t swim since it’s very hot (summer, remember? haha). we just stroll around the place. There are like gazzibos there but you have to go up to get there. The water is also not so high so we could have enjoyed it if it’s not that hot.
The whole experience was really GREAT in a very BEAUTIFUL place. I’m looking forward to my next summer get away. =)
I think I already mentioned that I really love being in the beach because it’s the only place where I feel at ease. And I guess I deserve a vacation because of all the stressful events that happened to me this past few months. Ive been wanting to go to Camotes ever since because a lot of my friends told me that it’s really beautiful there, and they were correct. The place was really a paradise. Perfect place for vacation.
I went there with my friends and friends of friends. We went their early so we arrived at around 9am in Santiago Bay. We were so lucky because they’re supposed to be fully booked but 1 cancelled so we’re able to check in. The first thing we did was eat, then we went swimming in the pool after.
I didn’t care if it’s really so hot,I just wanted to enjoy and break away. I had my sun block anyway. After we had swimming, we got tired so we took a nap. At around 4PM we went to the shore and had some sight seeing then we had our dinner after.
At night we just had a little conversation. Talk about our past experiences, funny moments and anything under the sun. I just so miss having these kinds of stuff with my friends. I just wish we had more time. But anyway, we still have our second day, so that’s one thing you guys have to watch out.
I just so miss this chic. She’s in leyte right now. enjoying her SUMMER!.
I actually never imagine that I’m gonna be so close to this girl cause the first time we know each other, we always argue with almost everything. We were friends since first year college, we have the same schedule and we’re together all the time. We have a lot of things in common, and we agree on almost everything. We almost have the same likes, from clothes, idols, food, dreams and BOYS.. hahaha.
We’re mean! YES we are, but we are also crazy. We might have our own world sometimes especially when we’re with our group of friends. And when we’re with them, we’re crazier.
We have signals that we 2 only understand. There are times that we just look at each other and we already know what we meant. Weird thing about us, especially when we’re at the mall, we don’t mind boys, we mind girls! AHAHAh. No we’re not lebos, it’s just that we know how to appreciate beautiful and pretty girls (wwweeeee?). HAHAha.
OK to much for the compliments. haha. anyway, happy birthday Sheen! Your now 1 year wiser!
I miss this girl! Hope to see her soon. Hopefully in leyte, in their place. ☺
Year 2011 was really a tough year for us. We’ve been through a lot, I mean a LOT. From our business to my studies, name it. But then as they say what goes around comes around, what goes up must come down. Wait, sound familiar? yah, it’s a lyrics of a song. HAHA.
Year 2012 has been a really good year for me especially in terms of career, and I wish my luck would continue this 2013. I know I have to thank a lot of people and I dont want to mention all of them cause I might miss something. Can I just thank God for all of this? ☺
Anyway, before everything turns so dramatic and before you guys cry (haha. OA) I just wanna look back to everything that happened in 2012 and look forward to this year 2013.
These are the things that keep me going. I don’t mean to brag, it’s just that I feel so lucky, happy and flattered that I have and I achieve all of these since these are really some of the things that I imagine myself doing. My friend told me “you’ll get what you want if you want it enough” and yah, it’s true. Again and again, these are the things that I want but this is not it, this is not just it. I’m looking forward to more of these things and more new things this year More projects, more shoots, more lookbook fan, more followers of the blog, more new things, more learnings, more of everything ☺. I don’t think it’s bad to ask for more, is it? I don’t think so, as long as you work hard for it. As my friend told me ” be the next Kryz uy (ambitious! HAHA)”. I’m sure most of the bloggers know who I’m talking about. I’m really a fan. But I say “I wish! HAHA” it’s so hard, HELLO!? real estate business owner, Top Blogger and a What a Girl Wants Creative director, WOW!. But then again, “you’ll get what you want if you want it enough”.
By the way, I was reading articles about Chinese zodiac and it says that people born in the year of the monkey are quite lucky this year in almost all fields, so I just wish it’s true.
Here’s for the MONKEYS to feed your ego (haha):
Of all the animals of the Chinese zodiac, your are the most intelligent. Your pranks, finesse, and craftiness get you out of the most delicate situations without a scratch. Particularly at ease in public and at parties with beautiful people, you are charming, surprising, and entertaining with the faces you make, and your irresistible, funny stories. You can also laugh at yourself with astonishing lucidity. Your character is that of a “happy pessimist” and you adapt easily to any context – and not without a certain amount of cunning. Confronted by a muscle-bound adversary, you use servility and flattery to lead him by the nose. Your skillfulness in the art of manipulation has no equal and you easily play the actor to soothe those around you. Crocodile tears and shameless lies are part of your daily bread. If you are caught, you have the good grace to recognize the error of your ways and can make others forgive you. You jump from branch to branch, from problem to problem, with an incredible degree of fickleness that borders on childishness. It is difficult to keep you in one place; at the least sign of boredom, you swing to another tree. But behind your mimics and gestures hides an old monkey that the Chinese name The Wise One. Your fault: You want to be first at any price
Single Monkeys can expect a great problem in 2013: too many suitors! Don’t make a rash decision and get into a relationship too quickly, because you will have other options available. That said, don’t be afraid to commit when the right person comes alone. You’ll know them when you see them. It’s not always true, but the Chinese 2013 horoscope for Monkey shows us that this year, if you aren’t sure about a relationship than there is a good reason for that.
