I know it’s somewhat late to post this but I’ll post it anyway. Last October, me and Ali went to Bacolod to experience Mascara Festival. It was truly a fun and extremely difficult experience. Yes you heard it right! Extremely difficult!. So what happened was, we arranged this outing for a considerable length of time and we truly can’t bear to wipe it out. Regardless of the fact that there was a tropical storm we still chose to travel. We went to North Bus terminal Saturday morning and shockingly Bacolod outings were scratched off because of the tropical storm (Like, whaaat?) It truly made me extremely upset realizing that we can’t push through with the trip we were so eager to go. Since we truly can’t simply release it, we attempted to go to South Bus terminal trusting that there will be a trip to Bacolod there. So when we arrive there, we rode a Bus going to Toledo City wanting to have the capacity to ride a ship going to Bacolod. When we arrived at Toledo City, we were informed that there’s no trip going to Bacolod and that it was wiped out. We were about to surrender yet a v-hire driver let us know that there’s a trip to Bacolod from Tabuelan port. He said he was certain in light of the fact that it’s as of now his third outing heading off to the port and that there was a trip there going to Bacolod. So we went for an hour ride. Following an hour trip going to Tabuelan, we arrived the port and it was somewhat heartbreaking since they officially ceased the trip going to Bacolod because of the storm. They said that they’ll be continuing the trip most likely tomorrow morning. So since we’re already there, we simply spent the night there and chose to wake up ahead of schedule to check if there will be a trip going to Bacolod. It’s fortunate there’s a shabby space for rent in the place.

So then we woke up at an early hour the following morning, they now continued the trips although there was just a little delay. We landed at Escalante port so we just rode a Bus going to Bacolod terminal. It was at that point around 7pm when we landed at the terminal and it was raining. So then we just took a taxi setting off to the spot where we will be staying.
We arrived at the spot around 8PM so then we had dinner then went out for a bit. It’s never past the point where it is possible to experience Mascara celebration, is it? There were road parties simply like amid Sinulog in Cebu. In spite of the fact that I can truly say that Sinulog is more enjoyable and wild. So anyway, we truly appreciated the night, in any event.

We woke up at a young hour the following morning to go to the well known “The Ruins”. That is truly one of our bucketlist so ACHIEVE!
Anyway, the place was really stunning! It’s beautiful! Some even chose it was their wedding or birthday receptions.
We did not really staylong because we still have to go home since we have work that night.
But the struggle did not end there. On our way home, we rode a motorcycle from The Ruins to terminal. The bus left the terminal around 12. When we get to the port, we were told that all trips were cnacelled due to the storm (Again??). We were advised to transfer to another port because there’s trip going to Cebu there (Again??!). The driver then told all the passengers that if we wanted to transfer to other port, then we have to pay additional 100php. All passengers agreed so we then travelled an hour to transfer to another port. When we get there, there really was 1 ferry that will go to Cebu, although it was delayed but at least there is. We already left the port around 7pm. We arrived at North Bus terminal around 3am.
The trip was really a struggle but it was really worth it!

I’m sorry, it’s really been a while that I haven’t posted on this blog. I’m supposed to change my blog and deactivate my wordpress blog, but I change my mind and I choose to stay with this and still keep the new one I made. If you want you can also visit the new blog at http://rheainot.blogspot.com/. Thanks! ♥
Right now I’m still confused as to what blog to keep but most likely since I started with this, I might just be keeping this.

Camotes Adventure (Day 2)

Its our day 2 in Camotes and it’s really very nice to wake up early with a very nice beach view, the view alone completes my day already (exage? haha.) Anyway, we have all day to tour the place.

We then checked out at around 12, left our things at the front desk and had our tour within the place. We rented the motorcylcle for $500 each (that’s whole day already).

We went to Danao Lake first. The place was serene and quiet, you can do kayacking and horse back riding.
1Then we went to a resort, I really forgot the name and surprisingly, we saw our college batchmate their with her family and friends.

Then we went to the cave. The cave was kinda scary, it’s so funny also cause I went in first while they were still outside waiting for something. After a few steps, I went back because it’s so dark and scary (acting brave didn’t work for me. hahaha.). So we went in and had swimming, the water is 5 feet when low tide and 6 feet when high tide. I honestly didn’t enjoy swimming there since I’m not that good in swimming. I just seat on the rocks and move while holding someone or by just holding the rocks on the side (that explains why I like to enroll in swimming lessons).

Last place we visited was the Mangodlong beach. The place was REALLY nice, as in super nice. We didn’t swim since it’s very hot (summer, remember? haha). we just stroll around the place. There are like gazzibos there but you have to go up to get there. The water is also not so high so we could have enjoyed it if it’s not that hot.

The whole experience was really GREAT in a very BEAUTIFUL place. I’m looking forward to my next summer get away. =)

Camotes Adventure (Day 1)

I think I already mentioned that I really love being in the beach because it’s the only place where I feel at ease. And I guess I deserve a vacation because of all the stressful events that happened to me this past few months. Ive been wanting to go to Camotes ever since because a lot of my friends told me that it’s really beautiful there, and they were correct. The place was really a paradise. Perfect place for vacation.

I went there with my friends and friends of friends. We went their early so we arrived at around 9am in Santiago Bay. We were so lucky because they’re supposed to be fully booked but 1 cancelled so we’re able to check in. The first thing we did was eat, then we went swimming in the pool after.

I didn’t care if it’s really so hot,I just wanted to enjoy and break away. I had my sun block anyway. After we had swimming, we got tired so we took a nap. At around 4PM we went to the shore and had some sight seeing then we had our dinner after.

At night we just had a little conversation. Talk about our past experiences, funny moments and anything under the sun. I just so miss having these kinds of stuff with my friends. I just wish we had more time. But anyway, we still have our second day, so that’s one thing you guys have to watch out.

Mike Yapching a New Cebuano Designer

I was watching ETCETERA on etc and good thing that it’s holy week so it’s like an ETCETERA marathon. I really love watching etcetera on etc because aside from patti and kim are really gorgeous it’s also so ME. However, because I work almost everyday (with 2 Rest days per week) so I dont get to watch it always. I really missed a lot of episode, so Im really happy that they showed some of the previous episodes again.

Well anyway, I saw this episode when they feature Mike Yapching, a young filipino designer and guess what? he’s Cebuano which makes me very proud. He really is so amazing and his works are gorgeous! He is a finalist at the 2011 Audi Star Creation fashion design competition held in the Asian Fashion Exchange (AFX) in Singapore. He made it into the final round of the 2012 Audi Star Creation fashion design competition besting 144 others from 13 countries in Asia (amazing right?).

This is Mike. I just got this pic in google. (HEHEHE)

I so, so, so love his creations and I would really love to wear even just 1 of his creation soon! (I wish i’ll have a chance to). His creations are full of lines and I love it when he said “lines are my way of showing emotion”. I can’t seem to understand how and why, all I know is that the creations are really amazing!

CEBU SIGNATURE MODELS

Last March 14 we had our fashion show at Montebello Villa Hotel for the constituents of Batangas who visited Cebu for, I guess, business trip.
We had 3 changes, first attire was the shorts and sexy top attire, second was the party dress attire and last was the swim wear attire. I apologize for not taking a lot of pics cause we’re really so busy that time.

For the first attire, I wore my favorite tattered shorts and a scarf turned to top. For the 2nd attire, I just wore a simple purple dress and for the swimming attire I wore a navy blue 2-peice. It’s actually my first time wearing the complete 2-peice in public. I usually just wear the top and pair it with a short when going to the beach. I was invited before also for a swimwear photoshoot but I did’t go. I also was asked if I wanted to join a bikini open contest, but, I mean SERIOUSLY? (hahaha I know it’s funny) I’m very insecure with my body that I really don’t feel like wearing 2 peice. But this time, it’s really a must, so I did it, anyway we had a scarf (or sarong as we call it) to cover the bottom.

the ABS-CBN Kapamilya mas Winner Ka Dancers were there to perform (I forgot the name of the group, I think they’re called lollipop), they were really good dancers and they’re all pretty, I  just so wish I’m part of them (I miss dancing). There we’re freebies and money that were given out also.

To my surprise, the engineering students of the University of San Carlos were there also, they had an activity held in the same place, it’s their grad ball I beleive. It was so awkward cause I know some of them, some we’re my former classmates, some were really my friends and friends of friends. What so awkward was most of them are boys, and you know how boys react when they see girls wearing bikinis (Urggh!). Anyway, I have no choice.
We we’re not able to take a lot of pictures since we we’re all busy in preparing for the event. Im thinking of bringing my brother next time so he can cover the event and I can share the experience with you guys ☺. The photographer who took the pics was not our official photographer since they were all busy. But over all, I had FUN. Another successful event of CEBU SIGNATURE MODELS, looking forward for more. =)

Say HELLO after the GOODBYE.. =)

There are really times that you have to let go of some things that you like. It’s not about giving up on what you want, it’s about letting go for something new to happen.. So I say goodbye to my long hair and big curls and say hello to my short and wavy hair.

This is before it’s curled ☺

I’ve been wanting to cut my hair or have a new hairstyle it’s just that I’m afraid to try something new cause it might not look good on me. I have to be careful because I don’t want to regret cutting my hair off and mess it up.

This time since I’m bored and I want to keep myself busy with a lot of things (you might be thinking how boring my life at home is) I decided to go out and have my hair done. I went to my friends house first cause I promised him that I’ll drop by. It’s been a while that I haven’t seen him. Though we’re still very close (he is really more of a brother to me). Good thing I was already close to their family so it’s not a big deal if I show up their anytime. might it be be very early in the morning or late at night, they won’t really bother.  So I went their around 9am and ate my breakfast at their house. It’s so sweet of her mom to prepare extra breakfast knowing that I’m going.

When I arrive at their place he was still asleep so I wake him up. I know he was so annoyed with my voice but I really don’t care (HAHAHA). He was like “why so early?, go eat first and I’ll be there in a while”. he was kinda pissed already but I know he won’t get mad at me. He has no choice.

I then asked him to accompany me to the parlor to have my hawir done. I kno it’ll be boring but then again, he has no choice (hahaha). I know he was so bored already cause he keeps on complaining so I told him to go somewhere and I’ll just text him once I’m done. After I had my hair done, we just ate lunch with his sister and went home.

It feels good when old friends are always there no matter what and even if you haven’t seen them for a while they would still treat you the same way it was before.

Mom knows best! ☺

It’s been a while that I haven’t updated my blog. But I really do appreciate those people who emailed me personally that they’re looking forward to my next posts. I would really love to update my blog everyday but as much as I would like to, I can’t. However, I would try my best to post twice or 3 times every week and that’s a promise. So here’s for today:
PicMonkey CollageIMG_0299 IMG_0298My mom crashed into my room this morning and invited me to go jogging with her (If she says jogging, she means hiking HAHAh.). I know my mom knows how I feel these past few days and attempted a lot of times to talk to me about it. My mom knows everything even before I say it. So I accompanied her and we went hiking around the place. She grabbed my hands and asked me to get up and change.

When I already went out, my mom shouted to get the camera so we can take some pictures. And I was like “Ma!!!” (with sleepy voice). I didn’t bring the camera so she went ahead and get it. Now you know where I got my vainness from? (I got it from my mama hahahaha. )

So anyway, we talked about a lot of things, we talk about work, people, future and she suddenly asked me how am I doing. I don’t know what to reply but I just said “I’m fine”. I didn’t tell her anything but she told me a lot of things that time.  I totally agree with everything she said so I just listened and was so quiet while she was talking.

“You’re still so young so enjoy, you won’t ran out of boys so don’t worry” that’s one thing she said and I just replied a smile and said “TRUE!”. Every time she asked me what really happened I always try to change the topic until she realizes that I don’t want to talk about it.

Once Upon a Time…

Love what you do, do what you love, get what you like and like what you have. I hope it’s as simple as it is, but life is so complicated and so are people. Sometimes you’ll understand, sometimes you don’t, sometimes you won’t, sometimes you can’t and sometimes you’ll try. But one thing is for sure, everything happens for a reason, you may not know it yet (maybe not yet or maybe never).

Life offers a lot of things so maybe just enjoy every bits of it. Don’t complicate things, believe what you trust but don’t always trust what you believe. An answer to a question isn’t as easy as how the question is being asked but sometimes is also not as complicated as the question. Just live and enjoy life. Don’t ask (even if sometimes you just can’t help it, haha). Wait for the the answer. You might get the answer once you stop asking the question. Just let things happen (come what may…) and everything will soon make sense and everything will just fall into place! =)
