Its our day 2 in Camotes and it’s really very nice to wake up early with a very nice beach view, the view alone completes my day already (exage? haha.) Anyway, we have all day to tour the place.
We then checked out at around 12, left our things at the front desk and had our tour within the place. We rented the motorcylcle for $500 each (that’s whole day already).
We went to Danao Lake first. The place was serene and quiet, you can do kayacking and horse back riding. Then we went to a resort, I really forgot the name and surprisingly, we saw our college batchmate their with her family and friends.
Then we went to the cave. The cave was kinda scary, it’s so funny also cause I went in first while they were still outside waiting for something. After a few steps, I went back because it’s so dark and scary (acting brave didn’t work for me. hahaha.). So we went in and had swimming, the water is 5 feet when low tide and 6 feet when high tide. I honestly didn’t enjoy swimming there since I’m not that good in swimming. I just seat on the rocks and move while holding someone or by just holding the rocks on the side (that explains why I like to enroll in swimming lessons).
Last place we visited was the Mangodlong beach. The place was REALLY nice, as in super nice. We didn’t swim since it’s very hot (summer, remember? haha). we just stroll around the place. There are like gazzibos there but you have to go up to get there. The water is also not so high so we could have enjoyed it if it’s not that hot.
The whole experience was really GREAT in a very BEAUTIFUL place. I’m looking forward to my next summer get away. =)
I think I already mentioned that I really love being in the beach because it’s the only place where I feel at ease. And I guess I deserve a vacation because of all the stressful events that happened to me this past few months. Ive been wanting to go to Camotes ever since because a lot of my friends told me that it’s really beautiful there, and they were correct. The place was really a paradise. Perfect place for vacation.
I went there with my friends and friends of friends. We went their early so we arrived at around 9am in Santiago Bay. We were so lucky because they’re supposed to be fully booked but 1 cancelled so we’re able to check in. The first thing we did was eat, then we went swimming in the pool after.
I didn’t care if it’s really so hot,I just wanted to enjoy and break away. I had my sun block anyway. After we had swimming, we got tired so we took a nap. At around 4PM we went to the shore and had some sight seeing then we had our dinner after.
At night we just had a little conversation. Talk about our past experiences, funny moments and anything under the sun. I just so miss having these kinds of stuff with my friends. I just wish we had more time. But anyway, we still have our second day, so that’s one thing you guys have to watch out.
I was watching ETCETERA on etc and good thing that it’s holy week so it’s like an ETCETERA marathon. I really love watching etcetera on etc because aside from patti and kim are really gorgeous it’s also so ME. However, because I work almost everyday (with 2 Rest days per week) so I dont get to watch it always. I really missed a lot of episode, so Im really happy that they showed some of the previous episodes again.
Well anyway, I saw this episode when they feature Mike Yapching, a young filipino designer and guess what? he’s Cebuano which makes me very proud. He really is so amazing and his works are gorgeous! He is a finalist at the 2011 Audi Star Creation fashion design competition held in the Asian Fashion Exchange (AFX) in Singapore. He made it into the final round of the 2012 Audi Star Creation fashion design competition besting 144 others from 13 countries in Asia (amazing right?).
This is Mike. I just got this pic in google. (HEHEHE)
I so, so, so love his creations and I would really love to wear even just 1 of his creation soon! (I wish i’ll have a chance to). His creations are full of lines and I love it when he said “lines are my way of showing emotion”. I can’t seem to understand how and why, all I know is that the creations are really amazing!
Last March 14 we had our fashion show at Montebello Villa Hotel for the constituents of Batangas who visited Cebu for, I guess, business trip.
We had 3 changes, first attire was the shorts and sexy top attire, second was the party dress attire and last was the swim wear attire. I apologize for not taking a lot of pics cause we’re really so busy that time.
For the first attire, I wore my favorite tattered shorts and a scarf turned to top. For the 2nd attire, I just wore a simple purple dress and for the swimming attire I wore a navy blue 2-peice. It’s actually my first time wearing the complete 2-peice in public. I usually just wear the top and pair it with a short when going to the beach. I was invited before also for a swimwear photoshoot but I did’t go. I also was asked if I wanted to join a bikini open contest, but, I mean SERIOUSLY? (hahaha I know it’s funny) I’m very insecure with my body that I really don’t feel like wearing 2 peice. But this time, it’s really a must, so I did it, anyway we had a scarf (or sarong as we call it) to cover the bottom.
with CSM model CLEO =)
our makeup artist! =)
the ABS-CBN Kapamilya mas Winner Ka Dancers were there to perform (I forgot the name of the group, I think they’re called lollipop), they were really good dancers and they’re all pretty, I just so wish I’m part of them (I miss dancing). There we’re freebies and money that were given out also.
To my surprise, the engineering students of the University of San Carlos were there also, they had an activity held in the same place, it’s their grad ball I beleive. It was so awkward cause I know some of them, some we’re my former classmates, some were really my friends and friends of friends. What so awkward was most of them are boys, and you know how boys react when they see girls wearing bikinis (Urggh!). Anyway, I have no choice.
We we’re not able to take a lot of pictures since we we’re all busy in preparing for the event. Im thinking of bringing my brother next time so he can cover the event and I can share the experience with you guys ☺. The photographer who took the pics was not our official photographer since they were all busy. But over all, I had FUN. Another successful event of CEBU SIGNATURE MODELS, looking forward for more. =)
